Short bouts of accumulated exercise (SBAE), better know as exercise snacks, have unique impact on the negative consequences of prolonged sitting, dramatically improving brain health and cognitive function, heart health, controlling glucose and lipid metabolism in the body. It is noted that the long term effects, specially of short bouts of resistance training has an even more dramatic effect on handling blood sugars and mental health.
